2023/24 Season
All fish care equipment (Nets, Mats, Slings & Refresher Bucket) is supplied you are not allowed to bring your own on site under any circumstances.
All members to have carp care treatment and forceps, we also recommend wire cutters for cutting those awkward ones to cut the hook point off.
Waders are compulsory and to be used where necessary, all fished to be unhooked before being removed from the water.
Please use the boats in the event of any fish or rig being snagged, life jackets must be worn. Never pull for a break!
Fish to be removed/lifted from the lake in the provided retainers only.
Fish to be retained in the landing net only.
No saving or bucketing swims.
Approach the gate/leave at no more than 10mph.
No guests, dogs, fires, litter, children, guns, drugs, alcohol is permitted in moderation, absolutely no beer cans/bottles to be on show.
No take aways are to be delivered to the lake.
No 360° rigs, braided mainline, bait boats/poles, drones, leaders are allowed but at a maximum of 1m only, no fish finding devices unless no other anglers are present.
Leads must drop off on the take, in-line leads must be fished drop off style. Running leads are fine (no running lead clips).
No cars to be driven up the slope.
The lake will be closed for spawning for as long as we see necessary.
The lake will be closed each winter for up to 20 days for the shooting syndicate, dates will be given prior to this happening.
There are no second chances as our fish are irreplaceable!
Membership is non refundable, reviewed yearly and is by invitation only, the rules are subject to change without prior notice.
Tickets run from 1st April (15th April for new members) until 15th March (they run straight through for existing members).
We reserve the right to amend any rules as we see fit during the season if it’s within the best interest of the fish or the syndicate as a whole.
