Here are a few answers to our most commonly asked questions:

Is the lake busy?
At present no, but with the stock growing the way it is we can’t promise it’ll stay that way forever!

Is there a time limit?
Currently, no, and hopefully, with our selection process, we’ll never need one either. Fen is the REAL working man’s syndicate.

Can I bring my dog?
No, unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

Can I bring a guest?
Partners are allowed, but children are not allowed.

How easy/hard is the lake?
Fen was never designed by us to be a runs water, and with members of all abilities, it’s hard to put a number on things. We would say one fish per trip is about right throughout the warmer months, with certain periods providing multiple captures.

Can I use a bait boat?
No, unfortunately, our experiences with these isn’t great! Most fish in the Summer are caught between four to six wraps anyway. 

Do you have a closed season?
No, but we do close for spawning and give the fish time to recover before reopening.
